GRAMMY Throwdown: Who’s More Twisted, Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift?

I’m pretty sure that there has never been, in the history of the GRAMMYS two nominees further apart on the fashion scale than Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.  Both artists will go to head-to-head (bleached spiky to soft curls!) in hopes of taking home Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year…. and practically every other category except Best Country Something.

As Twisted Silver’s designer, Deb Mitchell, is getting herself and her trend-setting jewelry ready to dazzle stars at the GRAMMY MusiCares event this weekend, which nominee do you think is more likely to wear Twisted Silver, Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift?

Would Lady Gaga rock Twisted Silver?

... or would Taylor Swift be more Twisted?

  1. No, I don’t think there could be two nominees more polar opposite, not only in their fashion but in their musical style too. I think both artists are on the far edge of Twisted Silver. Lady Gaga might wear some piece, but in a REALLY weird way. Taylor Swift seems to like stacked bracelets, but might like some more conservative ones.

  2. Taylor Swift for sure! Lady Gaga is just too out there. She doesn’t have style at all, but costumes. Taylor has STYLE. Not to mention she’s young enough to have room to branch out with Twisted. Lady Gaga’s got no where else to go.

  3. Ooh a trick question! The subtle hint was the Taylor Swift picture with that bracelet stack of cuffs! Are they Twisted Silver? If not, I can totally see her with an armful. I agree with the other comment. Lady Gaga doesn’t really have style, just…odd. (I must point out that I LOVE Lady Gaga’s music and I really don’t listen to country at all!)
