Announcing the 2010-2011 Twisted Silver Fashion Envoy Board Dena Behnam, Kaitlin Crawford, Claire Goveia, Sarah Paul and Jacqueline Woodwell from Amador Valley High School, and Annalise Amos, Meghan Bean and Emily Hanamura from Foothill High School.
These fashionable students will be joining Twisted Silver founder/designer, Deb Mitchell, in creative workshops throughout the school year to come up with ideas for fashion shoots and marketing materials gearedtoward the high-school crowd. Each month the Fashion Envoys will complete challenges, including administering their own fashion blog. The project will culminates with a fashion show in the spring.
The first challenge involved the students creating a storyboard collage of trends aimed to help buyers work in Twisted Silver’s design into the most current looks. Dena Behnam won the challenge with her “Nouveau Boho” magazine montage.
The students also designed a flier and invitation advertising a private Twisted Silver party at Studio 7 Fine Arts on Sept. 23. Sarah Paul and and Meghan Bean were the winners in that challenge.
Designer Deb said the workshops were fun and the creativity impressive. “The girls just blew me away.”
