Twisted Fashion Envoy’s Off-Campus Photo Shoot

All models should have an ice cream break

Twisted Silver’s Fashion Envoy Board — select fashionable high school students who have worked with Twisted founder/designer, Deb Mitchell, in creative workshop programs this year — took an off-campus photo shoot field trip recently.  Each young lady enjoyed a day-in-the-life of a model, highlighting their most beloved looks for summer with Twisted Silver jewelry.

Photo album look books will be posted to Twisted Silver’s Facebook page twice a week now through August.  These lovely “defining” girls are simply gorgeous inside and out, so be sure to like Twisted and see each photo set from this shoot.  They would love your comments!

Fall for Love Knot

Fall for the new Love Knot earrings: vintage charm of salvaged glass pearls from 1950’s era Japan, preserved in perfect deterioration.

Style Points: Love Knot earrings enhance the “Revamped Vintage” trend.  Wear simply with jeans, tee and a messy up-do to give a teensy hit of vintage vibe.  Love Knot works especially well with the romantic trend, playing off of lace, sheer, crochet, eyelet and other softer fabrics that are dominating this season.  But really, wouldn’t the contrast be amazing if you wore them with a black leather biker jacket? Endless possibilities when you’re in love…

[Note: Although the picture looks like they’re very matched,  in person they have a much more “imperfect” character.]

Bay Area Fashionista loves the artistic appeal and likes how they “work well with the current boho-chic trend from the runways”

Tapestry is IT for the Collar Choker Trend

Yves Saint Laurent and Emanuel Ungaro are all over collar chokers. Twisted Silver’s Tapestry choker is the IT collar for the trend… and it also double-wraps for a bracelet.

Vintage and sultry, Tapestry is crazy metal-woven brass embossing with the flexibility of ribbon. Seriously, what’s not to love?

Watch the YSL runway video clip to see the neatly tailored coats, capes and suits made “adult” with thick, chain-link chokers and suede boots.

Uncork Your Signature Style

The new Cork Opera length necklace arrived today and ya just gotta love the playful Julia Roberts kind of personality in this piece.  It dresses up beautifully without taking itself too seriously.  At 64 torso-lengthening and “70’s” groovin’ inches, Cork looks equally lovely double-wrapped.  Made with versatile, sustainable cork for the eco-chic greeness in you.

Yes there is a Cork bracelet (and Cork earrings coming June 7th), but designer Deb says to resist the urge to wear them together as a set.  The old rules of matchy-matchy are long gone.  Instead, uncork your signature style.  Get harmonious with cork wedge sandals that are everywhere this season, and then pair with your favorite stack of brass bracelets, especially the Classic XO and Tapestry (either the bracelet or the choker double-wrapped as a bracelet).  Cork Opera plays very well with wild tribal prints as easily as romantic lace and crochet.
